The. Best. Overdraft/Loan. Experience. Ever!

Already a fan of Monzo the experience from the angle of managing my overdraft and its usage, right down to the clarity of how its Loans are presented and booked into - it’s just second to none. Nothing is pushed on you and the terms are clear and fair. Moreover as a Premium user I love how my credit score shows up in the app - with a monthly update reminder that highlights the causes for any drop or increase. This is excellent and a great awareness grower for those using credit. In fact it has motivated me to stay out of my OD. Hats off Monzo! Reviewed on: 14th June 2021

Simply the best

Left Monzo once but came back asap and would now never leave - I pay £3 pcm for Extra and love connected banks, get paid early, credit ratings embedded, early insight of incoming BACS payments and outgoing direct debits Reviewed on: 10th February 2026

I love Monzo!

I love Monzo! Always giving me tips and the customer service is incredible. If I ever have a problem or I’m having trouble with my money they’re happy to help. They also kind of review my account and tell me what I’m doing good at or what could be better. Reviewed on: 10th February 2026

Banking that’s made fun.

Monzo has provides great features and makes saving money seem fun. It allows you to create different pots, allowing you to save for different things. I also get a notification on what I have spent for that day, which allows me to be more cautious with my spending. The ‘year in monzo’ is also a great idea, giving me an insight as to what I have spent most of my money on. Monzo social media team is also great, it’s very informal and humorous. Monzo is different.

Monzo is different. Hardly any charges for overdraft, 100% transparency regarding balance and transactions. I send links to people to share. So happy with Monzo! I don't bank with anyone else. Even transferring my pensions over. Reviewed on: 10th February 2026

I can’t stop raving about Monzo

I can’t stop raving about Monzo I went full Monzo in 2018/19 and am not looking back. I recommend it to friends and I advise people how to get the best out of it. Always use salary sorter and pay bills from my pots. I can budget and save easier and keep track of spend in easy and simple ways - the left to spend on my bills pot and looking at my scheduled payments for example. I always have a round up pot as well and am currently doing the reverse 1 p challenge adding to a pot for my car insurance to pay it all in one go. I have a pot for my Amazon prime payment and for car repairs and make sure to save my salary sort info so when I get paid (early as well!) I always move money everywhere it belongs - should I go into overdraft it’s 1p a day! Reviewed on: 10th February 2026
