Useless customer service. Money not safe with Monzo

Useless customer service, you go through all security checks, they admit it is you the rightful owner of the bank account, the moment you mention closing the account instantly they say: 'we don't know who you are'. Appalling service. Wrote to CEO- useless; no support at all for their own customers. Reviewed on: 22nd March 2024

I have been a full Monzo user for a number of years and has been the single best banking experience i’ve had and no plans to change anytime soon. The app works flawlessly and customer service is always swift and effective. Incremental improvements have been adding new features, excellent and market leading savings options. One issue had been lack of in app cheque payments but that’s just been added and so now ticks every box I could ask for. Now waiting for Monzo Pensions to go even more deeply with them and keen to invest. Cannot recommend more highly Reviewed on: 19th March 2024

My Personal Experience with Monzo

Monzo Bank UK has genuinely changed how I view banking – it’s like they’ve brought it into the 21st century with a user-friendly app that just makes sense. I’ve found their features, like instant spending notifications and budgeting tools, incredibly helpful for keeping on top of my finances without the usual hassle. The feeling of community and customer support is real; they’re quick to respond and always seem genuinely eager to help, which is a rarity. Plus, their approach to transparent banking – no hidden fees, no surprises – has been a massive relief for someone who’s tired of the traditional banking runaround.
