Monzo makes banking easy

I have used Monzo for a few years now and not only do they keep delivering amazing features in their app their customer service is on point! Quick, helpful and friendly. Phenomenal bank

Monzo is a phenomenal bank. Ever reliable, beautiful UI, considerate UX that tells me exactly what it is I need to know, and additional products that add real value (phone insurance, which was much needed when my phone got stolen earlier in the year, travel insurance so I don’t have to worry when applying for visas, etc). If I’m being selfish I’d only ask for 1 more thing - that Monzo could somehow generate bank statements for all the other accounts I’ve connected to it. But I know that’s unreasonable. Monzo has genuinely changed the way I view money.

Monzo has genuinely changed the way I view money. I’ve always been known as tight with money, but Monzo’s budgeting tools lets me take that to a whole new level… I’ve actually saved money simply through the power of the targets feature, with individual categorisation of targets and predicted spending. It’s something you don’t get in any other banking app. Their flex credit card is a game changer too. I can move stuff over purchased prior on debit instantly over to Flex. It’s brilliant! The UI makes it so easy to see payments and instalments. You can even see how much interest it’ll have. I also like that you can set contactless limits, and you’re never caught out by forgotten direct debits or monthly payments, as it’s all there under scheduled payments. The little extras that come with the Perks plan definitely make it worth the cost and I’m a happy subscriber. I even have it set to instantly update my finance spreadsheet on google sheets. It’s modern, fresh, and actually changes your attitude towards money. Money is fun with Monzo. Thank you! Reviewed on: 9th February 2026
