Excellent customer service

I have had a flex account with Nationwide for several years and although they are not the best for interest rates they provide excellent customer service and if I ever have any issues they are resolved very speedily by English speaking staff who are very professional. The overdraft fees are negligible too. They also pay £200 (£100 to each party) when you recommend someone to switch their account. Reviewed on: 12th November 2017

Best Bank Ever

We have never had any problems with our Sutton in Ashfield branch. The staff are always helpful and the bank promotes community spirit raising money for charities with their customers and staff. We are never pressured to take out loans or change our bank accounts. We were with a bank form the 80's til 2011 and NEVER had service like this. Nationwide are exemplary. EXCELLENT VALUE CURRENT ACCOUNT

Excellent online current account with brilliant extras- foreign travel insurance including winter sports medical cover, vehicle breakdown cover for all family vehicles, mobile phone insurance as well as monthly interest payments. Well worth £13 per month. Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

FLEXACCOUNT - An excellent free current account

An excellent product run by a mutual company. I only have had one complaint and that was that once they inadvertently took too little one month as a mortgage payment. I rang them and pointed this out, they immediately corrected the payment and paid me £20 as compensation. Brilliant. Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

Excellent banking service

I've had my account with Nationwide for nearly 30 years. Even when I've had difficult times financially with a huge overdraft, the Nationwide has been helpful and supportive. They've never put me under any pressure to repay. A really great bank. Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

Easy to use account

This account is easy to use and the interest rate for the first year is great. Shame the interest rate doesn’t stay as high for longer. The customer service with nationwide has always been great and I’ve found it easy to open and close other accounts. The online banking app is easy to use and has everything I need.
