Really good bank

I've been with nationwide for over 15 years and have always been impressed with their current account service. I do all of my banking online and the nationwide offer is easy to use and pretty convenient. I like the services they offer (free travel insurance and cash back on the credit card) my only niggle would be that interest rates could be higher for savings and their app could provide a statement which goes back further in time. Generally very pleased with the account and not actively looking to change. Reviewed on: 20th November 2015

Good company to bank with.

good solid current account

I have been a nationwide customer for about 5 years and so far have had no complaints. The flexaccount current account does everything I want it to. I have my direct debits set up and they are always paid on time, I can set up standing orders with no problems whatsoever. I have never had any problems in using my card either to buy in shops, online, or taking out cash through any cash machines. The bonus is that I get yearly european travel insurance free each year from this account providing I put £750 each month into the account, I have my wages paid in each month. I have also used the travel insurance on several occasions but have never had to claim on it yet. A good, solid current account. Reviewed on: 30th August 2015

They have kept me loyal

I applied for an account with Nationwide about 12 years ago in the first place and the process was made very simple. I filled out a form and sent it off and then a week or so later my confirmation letter and bank card arrived. I like that the account comes with a debit card meaning I don't have to carry much cash around and I like that I can access my account online any time I want. They have added a card reader to the account so that you have added security online but you can still log in with your usual details, if you then ask to pay money to somewhere new you will be asked to use the reader preventing fraud. I am very happy with the account and have put my children's money in an account there too. Reviewed on: 29th August 2015
