Love my bank!

Love my bank, Nationwide. No gimmicks, no shareholders. Reviewed on: 12th February 2016

Helpful, friendly knowledgeable

My branch in West Moors, Dorset is brilliant! All the staff are friendly, helpful and professional. They are always ready to help and know me by name. Nothing is too much trouble for them and my FlexPlus account is just what I need. Reviewed on: 10th February 2016

'Too Easy'

5
There is nothing special about a Nationwide account. Let me say that again - Nothing Special. Which is GREAT! I don't want my current account to be special. I want it to be simple; to work; to be easy. I rarely notice my Flexaccount - it hard ever registers on my radar, becuase if I need to do something or know something - I just login to my app and check or do it. It's easy. it's simple. It's straight forward. It's works. Why isn't everything in my life like my Nationwide Account? Reviewed on: 8th February 2016

Interest rate went down!

I hate that I used to get 1.5% interest on my current account and then one day got a letter saying "we are changing your interest to 0%" but it was announced as if it was a positive thing. It was really weird (and not cool!). Reviewed on: 3rd February 2016

Fabulous Service

I love the way that purchases are deducted immediately from the money that I have in my bank before my statement is updated..This always ensures that I never go overdrawn. Reviewed on: 27th January 2016

Best customer service

5
I have been banking with them for years and I have had very few problems which have been resolved promptly and effectively. It is account that will not let down just after a year Reviewed on: 26th January 2016

Excellent service

I have been with Nationwide for 29 years and I have had nothing short of excellent service from them whenever I need them. There customer service is second to none and they are always my go to! Reviewed on: 12th January 2016

never a problem

5
Nationwide have a fantastic option where they let you know by text when your account goes over or under a certain amount which you set yourself. There is also the option for getting text messages to tell you something is due to be paid and there is not enough money in your account so you have time to top up. I rarely ring them but when I do the call handlers are always polite and helpful. On the occasions I have sent a message they have always replied within the three working days they promise and usually sooner. I like my account. I cannot go overdrawn. I cannot be tempted by an overdraft. In fact the only gripe is charges which are my own fault any way and I don't know of a bank that doesn't charge! Even if I did I wouldn't want to move. An account which gave me a chance

5
I had a lot of financial problems and could not find a bank that would give me any type of account at all, so I found out about Nationwide Flexaccount and have never been happier. It is a basic account which is what I need, it means that I cannot really get into any more difficulty. Reviewed on: 4th January 2016
