The Peoples Account

I have been with Nationwide now for 3 years and have 2 accounts with them. If I have ever had a reason to speak to them they are always very willing to help and in a good patient manner. Always treated with respect and courtesy - feel like I am a person not just a user of their products/services. I call them the Peoples Bank as it is run for the benefit of people as members decide how it runs. AGM are held annually all members can have a say and we are listened to. Fair rates of interest

Mobile app needs updating

I switched to Nationwide last year and whilst I haven't had any problems with them, I think they could improve their mobile banking app. Until very recently you needed a card reader to send payments to a new payee and you are still unable to change the reference on a payment when using the app, which is how I mainly bank. I have had no other issues and find them to be a decent bank. Reviewed on: 26th March 2023
