There’s no monthly fee for FlexBasic and Nationwide automatically open a savings account for you at the same time. The account doesn’t have an arranged overdraft facility.

They always let me know when there is a new savings scheme or interest rate rise that will benefit me. I have a vote and a say in Nationwide. They have never let me down in over 20 years. Reviewed on: 31st July 2023
