bureaucratic and inefficient

I was applying for a small mortgage on a large house easily within my affordability, yet I had to find and produce many pieces of paperwork as if I was a marginal case. Then when I got the offer it was missing 3 pages and I was asked for on document that my solicitor had produced. taking it to the Building Soc office the day before completion i found it closed early. I know its difficult with coronavirus and home working, but this is the most stressful remortgage I have ever done. Reviewed on: 26th June 2020

Expertise and smooth transaction

From start to finish I felt valued as a customer. I received excellent expertise from friendly, professional people. I felt no pressure to buy this mortgage, as I have done at other establishments. Our dream

We both had a dream of owning our own property, it did not seem possible at our stage of life until, we were put in Touch with Newbury. Good overall experience

Repayment of mortgage

From the start of the process to the end, the staff were fantastic with advising us with very clear and consise details of the procedure and were quick to respond to our request, even with the Covid 19 situation casuing more pressure on them. Reviewed on: 5th June 2020
