I have used the Newbury BS for many years.

I have used the Newbury BS for many years. They are a lender that has a common sense approach coupled with the ability to access the underwriter. Both of these help the client, to a smooth outcome. A customer for 15 years

I’ve moved house three times and continued to use the Newbury Building Society. The super helpful and friendly team have always been very efficient, easy to get hold of and you feel like a person and not a number. The mortgage products are good value for money and the always pass on even small rate reductions. Reviewed on: 9th May 2025

No formal receipt when I redeemed my mortgage.

Having paid a large amount of money by bank transfer from my Bank Branch, to redeem my mortgage I received no receipt or email to confirm that the money had actually been received, or had reached my account. After a week or more I rang to be told yes it had been received but did not receive anything in writing for a further 2 weeks. Quite worrying as I had paid a lot of money and then had no confirmation officially. Otherwise my experience whilst I had a mortgage with the NBS was excellent. Reviewed on: 25th April 2025

My broker recommended the Newbury Building Society.

I was recommended to consider a Newbury Building Society mortgage by my broker. They had a very competitive mortgage offer which matched the type of deal that best suited my criteria.
