Really friendly, helpful staff and also easy to add funds by internet as well.

I met staff of Newbury Building Society at Abingdon Air Show and liked the sound of the account which I subsequently opened in branch. The service I received in branch was very good and the whole process was very smooth. Since then I have used internet access which again is very user-friendly (I'm not computer-savvy, so need simple systems!). Reviewed on: 4th January 2018

I wanted to open a Cash ISA

I wanted to open a Cash ISA with you but was unable to do so online, so I had to visit the Thatcham Branch. I was looked after very well and all the paperwork was completed easily. Reviewed on: 22nd March 2024

Newbury Building Society look after their members.

Newbury Building Society look after their members. The interest rates for savings products are reviewed often and any opportunity to increase rates to benefit members are passed on. The limit to deposit this tax year and for the next tax year has been raised for the Exiting Member Account and this is a great benefit. Reviewed on: 21st March 2024

Great customer service and fair savings rates

Staff always friendly, helpful and care about the customers. They have some simple savings with good rates and I like the fact that the rates don't drop off after a set period. Have saved with them for years and visited a few branches and always feel valued as a customer. Reviewed on: 20th March 2024
