PayPal has been with me for years

PayPal has been with me for years, there is no service quite like it. They are always the better option for any sort of payment in my opinion, and they are always flexible in terms of credit options. I have been repaying a loan that I took years ago and they've never pressured me or raised the prices in absurd way making it an affordable and enjoyable experience. Be it buying games or anything that can be payed by PayPal, it's always my top priority. Reviewed on: 6th July 2026

I have for many years been a huge advocate of PayPal...

I have for many years been a huge advocate of PayPal for online purchases mainly through eBay, as a secure way of paying for goods, especially when seeders have less feedback so an unknowm, PayPal paired with eBay Buyer Confidence in recent years gave me the confidence that I was covered if a transaction didn't go right - Then, PayPal offered better crediiit terms to spread the cost of purchses beyond eBay, making budgeting a lot more manageable - Now, with the PayPal credit card, these favourable terms reach even further for anything I purchase with it, making purchasing anywhere an even more reassurring experience. The PayPal Cashback Mastercard is a strong no annual fee cashback card that works best if you use PayPal often, offering three percent cashback on PayPal checkout purchases and one point five percent on everything else, with rewards flowing directly into your PayPal balance and redeeming automatically without points to manage. It has some drawbacks, including no welcome bonus, no introductory zero percent APR, a three percent foreign transaction fee that makes it unsuitable for travel, and the requirement to have a PayPal account. Overall, it is a nice, simple, rewarding card for people who regularly use PayPal and prefer straightforward cashback, but if PayPal is not part of your daily spending, you will likely earn more with a general cashback card.
