Spreading the cost

This is a great way of spreading the cost for any purchase over 3 months whilst not paying any intrest. Also PayPal let you know when payments are due which helps with household budgeting. Reviewed on: 25th June 2026

Great option if you are good with your finances

As long as you are sensible with money and can budget ahead - it works out brilliantly. It's simple to do, and does everything for you on checkout. It notifies you when the next payment is coming up so you can ensure funds are available, and gives a second chance in the evening and error in payment occurs. Reviewed on: 25th June 2026

Convenient but not always available

I've used PayPal's Pay in 3 a few times for online purchases and overall it's been a smooth experience. The application process is quick and the checkout integration works well on most retailer websites. Payments are automatically taken from my linked card on the agreed dates, and I get reminders beforehand which is helpful. The only downside is that not every retailer offers it as an option, so availability can be a bit inconsistent. Customer service has been responsive whenever I've had a query about a payment schedule. Reviewed on: 25th June 2026
