Would use again

I’ve used pay in 3 a few times now and it’s nice to be able to spread bigger purchases out over time and know there’s security in using PayPal if something goes wrong with the transaction Reviewed on: 28th May 2024

Responsible short-term lender!

What I like most is that I feel more in control of my spending with PayPal Pay-in-3 than I did with other companies who provide pay-in-instalment options. I felt quickly out of my depth with other providers who appealed to my impulsive nature and lured me into debt that quickly escalated and could have easily become uncontrollable; they tempted me by increasing my spending limit beyond true affordability, and allowed me to pay off my instalments with a credit card, thus paying debt with debt. PayPal however will only accept debit card payments and so this helps me to keep my debt manageable and to feel like my financial security is valued. I have paid off and closed my accounts with other short-term lenders now because they made me feel like I was trapped in a cycle of debt, but I have kept PayPal Pay-in-3 because I feel PayPal prompt more considered spending and I feel safer and more in control. Pay in 3 keeps me stress-free

Pay in 3 has saved me so many times in big purchases eg I recently chose it when I bought paint for my house, because I prefer to split the cost rather than put it all on credit. I use my bank's instalment plans too, but they always come with monthly fees, whereas Pay in 3 has never asked me for more than the actual purchase value. The payments email communications are also clear and always on time. And if I log on to my PayPal account any payment plans are easy to find just on the homepage, with the date of the next payment due. For a forgetful and anxious person like me, that's a big help. The little circle that's turning blue showing your progress with paying off a plan is also satisfying and keeps me motivated. Overall I trust them with my money. Very happy customer. Reliable, fast and trustworthy

I have been using PayPal for a while now and yhr experience has been wonderful. Receiving money from other countries, withdrawing money from social media accounts, used a payment gateway and giving the opportunity of instalmental payment. Very fast and reliable.
