I've been with Petplan for over 25 years with numerous dogs and cats and made many claims. I have always received excellent service with prompt payment and never had a claim disputed or refused. Reviewed on: 27th August 2025

We are now on dog number 6, all adopted. Our first 2 weren’t insured, so many years ago when vet fees etc were not so expensive that we needed to worry if they needed treatment. Over the years things have changed. We had major problems with our last 3 and we’re thankful they were insured with PetPlan. We have never had any problems with them and claims were always sorted promptly, efficiently and with so much kindness. We recently adopted dog number 6 and she is insured with Petplan. I highly doubt anyone could find a better insurer for their animal family. Good luck PetPlan. Reviewed on: 27th August 2025

Without petplan’s support i have no doubt that i would not have my 2 precious boys with me now. Both my cats have heart disease and allergies which mean regular scans, tests, medication and at times operations. This is expensive and with both of them being unwell i would not have been able to manage their treatment without petplan. Kind and considerate staff, direct payment to our primary vet and specialists at hospital have ensured my boys are looked after. My oldest cat is now 6 and we nearly lost him teice before he was 2 years old - not having the stress of finding the money to treat him has meant he has a happy life and his condition is managed. My 3 year old is more severe in terms of his illnessess but again the swift payment, the supportive staff have ensured that however long they have left they are comfortable and happy Reviewed on: 26th August 2025

Supportive and understanding.

My 14 year old Jack Russell who recently passed away had been with Petplan her whole life. They were there for her through her diabetes, arthritis, chronic kidney disease and everything else. They were so incredibly supportive and never once rejected a claim. Reviewed on: 26th August 2025

Wonderful service

Petplan have always paid every claim quickly without question. Everyone you speak to at Petplan is lovely and so helpful. My cat Tilly has had some big claims and they have all been paid quickly which takes away some of the stress of having a cat with a serious health condition. Reviewed on: 26th August 2025

Prompt payments and efficient service

I’ve had a nightmare year with my cat’s health. He’s had a disease called FIP , which was difficult to diagnose, distressing in its effects on him and very expensive to treat. The only worry I didn’t have was the cost. Each time I ordered a bottle of expensive antiviral medicine Petplan reimbursed me very promptly and without question. I am so grateful to them . Thanks to Petplan insurance funding me, after three months of treatment Joey now seems to be cured. Reviewed on: 26th August 2025
