very poor service i am 83 years old have been with privilege car insurancefor afew yearsthis year they increased my insurance from £691-36 to £1106-17 an increase of £414-81i have had no claims di 5000 miles a year with over50 years experience go thep would not put the price down when i talked to them on the phone my advice go elswhere you will get a better deal Reviewed on: 9th October 2023

Shambles of an insurance company

Logged a cliam on behalf of manager and provided all information, staff refused to then discuss the matter even after manager had emailed to authorise me discussing this. Also Pratiksha refused to log a complaint or allow me to speak with a manager. Clearly just want to make it as difficult as possible to claim against one of their drivers. Since logging they have made zero contact with myself or my manager and its been over a month since originally logged. Reviewed on: 4th October 2023

Customer Service has gone down hill

After previously being able to be put through to the privilege legal department, this communication access has now been removed. You now speak to operators all around the world, who do not know the UK driving laws, and struggle to relate to your issues. Privilege have been unable to track down the driver’s insurance who caused an accident ; which should have been a simple process. Reviewed on: 26th September 2023

Strongly advise anyone to avoid . Said car insurance was set up there end was told direct debit was sorted . To then find out I was driving round uninsured. Proof of my call was there and no apology told to wait Reviewed on: 24th August 2023

A Friendly Helpful and Professional Insurance Company

I had a claim for a car accident. Their response was swift, polite, and professional. The whole matter was sorted within 7 days, and I received a very decent valuation on my written off car which was paid within 10 days! They couldn't have been more helpful. Reviewed on: 24th August 2023

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS !!!!! £700 increase on my premium compared to last year, no claims, no accidents or motoring offences. Looking at comparison websites I am able to get a quote for £1000 (!!!!) less than what privilege has quoted me. I have been with this insurance company for a couple years and their customer service is abysmal. Tried using their messaging service on their website and have spent a total of 6 hours only to be told they can take £200 (still £800 more that comparison websites) off the renewal quote and weren't able to give me an explanation as to why my premium has increased so much. All round terrible customer service, an absolute waste of time and money. Reviewed on: 30th June 2023
