Always rated out experience in branch. It may have been miles away, but as we live in a rural area it was to be expected. They were always friendly and very efficient.
Now they've closed the branch we're thinking of switching to an internet only bank despite a great 30 year relationship.
If we can only deal with RBS online, we may as well switch and get a golden Hello! from the many offers out there.

I switched to RBS after many years with another bank. It was quick an easy. The main difference I've noticed is the efficiency of their mobile banking app and their security. Every time a try to make a purchase online there are a few security measures in place which I really appreciate. I lost my bank card a month a they replaced it really quickly. However the main benefit is that the transactions display on my mobile banking app is instantaneous, so I know exactly how much money is in my account (via the pending feature) at any given time. Shame that they are having to close branches all over the UK but that's the price you for digitisation. Overall, I'm really happy with RBS.
