With RCi, you can lock your money away in a fixed term savings account.

RCi fixed term savings accounts are available for one, two, three, four or five years. You’ll need to open the account with between £1,000 and £1 million. Unlimited top-ups can be made in the first 14 days.

Great bank for savings and helpful staff

I find RCI usually has competitive savings rates. The customer service team replies quickly and are always helpful. The one drawback with RCI (and the reason I won't award 5 stars) is that you can only have one linked bank account, meaning that if I have a joint savings account and an individual one the the funds must be transferred to and from one single account. In this day and age I would expect to be able to link a different account to each RCI account - especially when considering safeguarding against financial coercion Reviewed on: 1st May 2025
