Best rates, easy account opening

Although the monthly limits on Regular Saving accounts are lower than many other institutions, the interest rate beats most others. I also like the fact that it is so simple to open another account online. Reviewed on: 27th January 2020

Excellent Customer Services

What's not to like!

I've had accounts with Saffron for at least 20 years. Interest rates may not be the highest available but this is more than made up for by local (therefore easily accessible) branches and truly excellent customer service. There has never been a bad experience whether online, by phone or in person! All advisors have been friendly, helpful and efficient, and on the rare occasions there has been an error or a problem it has been quickly rectified. Personnel in my local branch (Royston) are courteous and patient, and never 'pushy' about mentioning new or possibly more suitable products. Altogether dealing with Saffron is a pleasure! Haverhill staff
