My santender account is good enough to use.

I find my Santander account easy to manage and I couldn't think of a better account to use being at university. When I opened my student account I was given an overdraft with 0% interest which doesn't need to be paid back until I finish university. Moreover, whenever I'm in need of assistance I always come off the phone or away from the branch feeling as though I have gained all the help I need in order to solve my problems. Santander the best bank

safety

Beaurocratic, slow, old school

Santander have a big issue when it comes to UI/UX. They lag behind competitors when it comes to mobile banking. Their structuring of what should be simple accounts is sub-par. Their approach to digital is archaic. Staff are consistently uninformed of products and procedures. Over reliance on forms and paperwork is off putting in dealing with them. Great Banking and Customer Service

I've banked with Santander for many years and have always found my banking needs have been met in an efficient and accessible way and the Customer Service is always extremely good. I'm always informed of any changes or communications that I need to know about and the online banking is easy to use and fully comprehensive. I was even offered the chance to change to a different type of current account, so that my overdraft charges would be capped at a certain amount, saving me a lot of money, when the new Banking Overdraft Fees regulations changed last year.
