Very good account with rewards, but you do need to pay in a certain ammount each month, so not necessarily useful if you are retired. Reviewed on: 23rd June 2016

Excellent online banking!

I honestly believe Santander has one of the best and most flexible Web and App banking systems. Security checks have been a bit OTT recently but that is understandable and reassuring given the amount of scams currently about! Reviewed on: 3rd March 2022

Closed my account and stole my money

I been with Santander since 2015, two weeks ago I received a letter that my account will be closed without any explanation reason. OK Spoke with customer service after hours waiting on the line, they advised me to go to any Santander brunch to get the leftover money on my account, so I did. When I went to the brunch they told me was 0 money on my account, the money had been transferred somewhere from Santander without my approval. I have spoken with the costume service last week, they don't know where my money is, I send a complaint also they don't know where my money is. Their system is disgusting, unprofessional, rubbish! Santander where is my money? If I don't receive my money ASAP I will report this matter further. Reviewed on: 28th February 2022

More than worst

Today i had experienced the worst ever telephone banking with santander . It took 4 hours and i was making payment towards my house and still couldt do the payment . As the phone was in waiting and Dj music was on . After 2 hours the call disconnected by itself and then again 2 hours. And it was funny when one agent over the phone told me to go to branch if i want to. I have screen shots of the calls . Made me exhausted and it was over my nerves Reviewed on: 25th February 2022

Absolutely Shocking Service

Absolutely shocking service at this bank and getting worse. I have tried to make a payment on my account today and immediately had my account blocked which has happened before. I have been on the phone now with Santander for 1 hour 41 mins waiting for an answer and been cut off 3 times. Santander texted me to say they had tried to call me but that is an absolute lie as they haven't. I understand security is an issue but don't block accounts on first attempt, mickey mouse bank that can perhaps deal with children's savings but not a serious bank in any way. If you are going to close accounts you have to be available immediately to unlock or ask questions first before you block. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE ! GOING TO OPEN A NEW ACCOUNT NOW AND SUGGEST YOU ALL DO THE SAME. Now 1 hour 46 mins and still no answer !!!!!! Call wait went to 2 hours 5 mins yesterday, got through today after 20 mins and then cutt off again. Reviewed on: 21st February 2022
