Outstanding product

I can't rave enough about how clever the 123 current account is. There is a 2 pound monthly fee, but this is more than made up for by the better savings rate on offer and cashback on household bills makes it really clever...cash back on bills is a nice feeling. Reviewed on: 10th June 2015

Instant online banking .... unless you're locked out for weeks

I got locked out of my account due to using an incorrect PIN. A new one was requested immediately but was told it takes 5 to 7 working days. 13 days and several complaints later, they said they would send new login details which would take a further 5 to 7 working days. For the last 3 days, via twitter, I have been promised a call but nothing. I am still waiting having been locked out of my account for 16 days. Using faster payments I can transfer money within minutes; that is after waiting several weeks to get back online! Reviewed on: 29th September 2017

Great modern service

They have a vastly greater app and overall online banking service than other high street banks that i have dealt with. Another great point is their modern and convenient ATM machines that allow deposits and £5 withdrawals. Reviewed on: 26th September 2017

Great service

This is my first account with Santander, they were so helpful when setting the account up. I had lots of questions afterwards, I phoned them and they talked me through everything - even repeating much of the same thing! Reviewed on: 19th September 2017

Student account

I have a student account with Santander and I love it. I have a £1500 free over draft limit which suits me so well and get a free railcard for 4 years which is so handy as I live near London for uni. Recommend for any new student needing a student account. Reviewed on: 14th September 2017

Easy to set up and straightforward to manage online

An account that charges £1 per month and pays back a little more depending on the number of direct debits you set up. The account was easy to set up at my local branch although the appointment for this took a week. Online banking is straightforward. Reviewed on: 12th September 2017

Great for students

I have a 123 Student account, and it's been perfect for my time at uni. I received a free Railcard which has been so useful, and a generous overdraft. The Santander app is great for keeping on top of your spending. Reviewed on: 5th September 2017

Good customer service
