Good service

SBS provided a good service when this mortgage was arranged recently, a much easier process than when I first had mortgages with other providers 3 decades ago. The app was useful and worked well. Reviewed on: 15th May 2023

The right solution

As a retired couple there are tax implications when taking money out of a SIPP. This loan has saved me paying a marginal rate of over 40%, with no further tax implications. Reviewed on: 15th May 2023

Friendly and efficient

We remortgaged with the Scottish Building Society and found the process quick while being kept up to date throughout. The application process was smooth and I've had follow up calls and letters to make sure all has been ok. We had to get our own solicitor to complete the conveyancing but this wasn't really a problem, just something we haven't experienced with a remortgage before. Thorough, friendly support

Very good rate offered through broker (Landc) Completion of questions and provision of information was very detailed (eg copies of bank accounts etc) which was good but the requests came in phases - we would provide one lot and then more was asked for.
