Just will not listen

When I first started with Starling, they were great. Now however, I find they treat their customers with some disdain. My experience with their feedback process ('starlingbank dot com/contact/') is if you use it, they email you back and tell you to go to the app. If you've crafted a detailed email with your feedback originally, then you are told to go to the app which is limited to 500 characters, you could come unstuck. Challenging for anyone who has communication challenges wishing to articulate feedback effectively. They also do not respond to any feedback submitted. So I officially complained, Starling upheld my complaint and agreed their web site is misleading in this regard, but five months later, no change to their website. As this is not a financial matter involving money, the FCA will not look into this. So Starling just continues to ignore and mislead its customers with regards to feedback. Starling makes managing my money easy.

Starling is so easy to use and to see exactly what I spend. They reply to queries promptly and also supply good advice generally about avoiding fraud and scams. The Saving Spaces help me manage my money efficiently and the fixed rate accounts are a good deal. Using my Starling card abroad is easy and avoids unnecessary bank charges. A top service! Good savings .

Starling have maintained 4% on their Easy Access Savings account linked to the current account. Easy transfer of money between accounts. Debit card accepted easily in France and no foreign transaction fees Reviewed on: 4th March 2025

Spaces feature is an excellent idea.

Felt pressured to change to on line banking system

I felt under pressure from my current bank to change to their on line banking system I am OAP I don’t like changes I was panicking I felt backed into a corner. My daughter calmed me down she had recently started on line banking so easy she said a child could do it she coaxed me and I reluctantly agreed. I have never looked back a few hiccups to start which were professionally and easily explained all round great experience I should have done it long ago. Reviewed on: 26th February 2025
