Exemplary service from Head Office

Exemplary service from Head Office on an ISA I had maturing at the end of December. I decided that I should break it up to give me more flexibility with some staying with Suffolk BS and some going to other providers. It wasn't a simple case of transferring into the offered maturing accounts so having opened the new account online, as a distant customer, I emailed hello@suffolk to explain what I was doing. Alex picked this up and remained in contact to the point of final closure. That was very useful because the transfer to a Building Society that had in the past been so efficient became difficult in not accepting the completed on line transfer form and wanting their own printed transfer form signed and returned in the post. Despite Suffolk BS not receiving that transfer form until after maturity it was in my accounts and the the whole maturity operation concluded with a phone call advising such on 7th January. A clear example of picking up and taking personal responsibility for a not so straight forward maturity and closure thus demonstrating that the customer is important.
