I used Tesco as they had a great offer on via TopCashBack meaning I paid very little for my home insurance. It was very easy to apply and I can access my documents online. Hopefully I won't need to make a claim so making this an easy process all round! Reviewed on: 7th July 2016

I initially switched my contents cover to Tesco Bank as the quote I got was so competitive; it was almost half the cost of my policy with my then current provider for almost double the level of cover. Before renewing last year, I used a price comparison site to check the quote against other providers, but it was unbeatable. My policy was quick and simple to take out and renew, and on both occasions communication was excellent and I received my documents very swiftly. Thus far, I'm a very happy customer. I was surprised to see a few bad reviews about Tesco's home insurance as I've really had nothing to complain about. Good cover and a competitive price, even after I've renewed. Reviewed on: 22nd December 2015

Absolutely awful customer service. The renewal quote I was sent was nearly double from the previous year
