So Far So Good

I initially switched my contents cover to Tesco Bank as the quote I got was so competitive; it was almost half the cost of my policy with my then current provider for almost double the level of cover. Before renewing last year, I used a price comparison site to check the quote against other providers, but it was unbeatable. My policy was quick and simple to take out and renew, and on both occasions communication was excellent and I received my documents very swiftly. Thus far, I'm a very happy customer. insurance rip off !

I call Tesco home insurance to make a claim on my house They sent a surveyor in to inspect the damage and told me the claim will fail . He said Tesco are very strict about claims. So I told him what is the point of me paying them several hundred pounds a year for insurance cover. So what do they cover ?? cover their profits ? for next year renew its best if they pulled up a chair sit and wait for my phone call could be a long wait !!!! In the end i win they will loose . they will loose thousands from my shopping and petrol with them . Also public will see this review will think again about buying insurance with Tesco . 1 bad review will cost you. You not very good at business strategy !!! Reviewed on: 12th October 2024

Tesco have reduced my premiums and upped my cover.

I have been with Tesco home insurance for several years now and they are always cheaper than any of the comparison sites or match the prices but with better cover. Always found them to be professional and helpful on the phone and their prices are competitive and we've paid in our view a good price for what they offer so would say to others, give them a try for a quote, you might be pleasantly surprised ! One to remember

Still going through the claim, two months later! And still they ask for additional information. Absolutely not the best one to use, I would have expected any claim to have been done by now but Tesco have been shocking. Reviewed on: 30th July 2024

Absolutely awful, no response now for three weeks an...

Absolutely awful, no response now for three weeks and its still going on. I registered the claim over 2 months ago. After having the loss adjuster attend to check this a valid claim (which is fine and fair). I was made to feel like a criminal more than a victim. Having been insured for 20 years, never ever claimed once and this is the level of service received. I have been told I am covered then I am not covered. they cant decide and they cant be bother to respond. Just one to avoid. Reviewed on: 16th July 2024
