I have a bond which is an innovative product offering a chance to win a prize in the draw . The odds are much better than premium bonds . Although the prizes are smaller there is greater chance and you earn a little interest too . I don’t know anyone that has won more than £500 on Premium Bonds but I won £1000 . Not the easiest

The account has a limited additions period which is Frustrating. The online services are not particularly user friendly and the account was tricky to open up. As there are other banks and building societies with accounts which are easier to set up and use and more flexible about paying in, I will look elsewhere first. Reviewed on: 25th January 2019

Not sure about the family bonds!

Quite difficult to open 4 separate accounts. Not all the prize money is paid out every month from what I can understand! A lot of blank tickets in the draw!!! Will leave it a bit and see what happens! Reviewed on: 25th January 2019

To open more than one Windfall Bond online, multiple applications are needed and I’m sorry that you feel that this was not an easy process. In order for us to calculate and provide the odds of winning, the number of tickets in the draw each month needs to be a set number - 10,000 for the Windfall Bond. Each qualifying Windfall Bond is allocated a unique ticket number for entry into the draw. Until there are 10,000 qualifying Windfall Bonds allocated to tickets and entered into the draw each month, there will be blank tickets to make up the ticket total to 10,000 for each draw. An easy transfer from old to new account.

This move was easy on the internet and also adding some more money by direct transfer from my bank account. The only disappointment was that the new interest rate had gone down quite a bit and I will get a lower interest rate than other people whose account matures in February (only a few days after mine). Can this be right? I believe it is wrong and hope you can increase the rate to that of people who renew their account in February. I feel that I missed out here. Reviewed on: 25th January 2019
