No fuss ISAs

I was fed up with banks changing the ISA rate after the initial year and giving derisory rates. It was such a fiddle to change the provider. The Family Building Society market tracker ISA gives a reasonable rate and saves constantly swapping around. You could get a slightly better rate if you are inclined to shop around, but there's not much in it. ( Disclosure: I also do some work for the FBS.) Reviewed on: 20th December 2017

I had a problem gaining access to my on line account with family building society,I contacted the f b s and spoke to one your colleagues who was very helpful and suggested change of access to memorable word instead of using the phone Reviewed on: 18th September 2025

Lovely service at The Family Building Society .

Lovely lady who understood what i needed right away ,and dealt with it in a professional but friendly way . She didnt hurry me in any way which at 79 i am a bit slow but not everyone is patient . Poor customer service

I am unable to contact them by telephone as it is a long wait. I am 82 and need help to log in to my account. I have emailed so hope for the best Reviewed on: 15th September 2025

We do offer a call-back service which is especially useful for times when we are busy so that customers don’t have to wait on the line. This facility retains your place in the queue which means that your call-back request is automatically sent to an agent who will make a call out to you, and you don’t have to wait on the phone for your call to be answered.
