Poor Service opening Windfall Bond

Information was miskeyed by Family BS when I requested a joint Windfall Bond, which resulted in unnecessary correspondence and delay with my application. Reviewed on: 10th September 2021

Considering I only wanted to transfer 10k from a FBS ISA to an FBS Windfall Bond I thought the application process unnecessarily convoluted. Needed two phone calls to your office to get it completed, but we did get there in the end ! Reviewed on: 8th September 2021

Very impressed with the service received yesterday and today

The lady I spoke to yesterday and the gentleman today were most helpful and courtious . Call back was received within ten minutes of my original call . Excellent service. Far superior to other Building societies/ banks etc I had the misfortune to deal with . Reviewed on: 3rd September 2021

Poor service from an organisation living in the 19th century

Unable to provide electronic transfers between ISA providers. Only able to transfer by cheque - most decent organisations paying top intertest rates only accept electronic transfers. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2021

Reply from Family Building Society Dear Peter, Thank you for leaving feedback regarding our service. Family Building Society is not on the Electronic ISA Transfer Register. The majority of ISA providers accept transfers by cheque, so it is not usually an issue. However, it is something that is on our radar and that we may consider in the future. Worst banking experience I have ever had

The online service is clunky. Support is only available during working hours. I am trying to transfer funds to another ISA and I am being made to jump through a number of hurdles that seem to change every time I do them. There was never this many hurdles in place when I was depositing my money into the account. Would not recommend this account to anyone Reviewed on: 7th July 2021
