Great service and easy to make a claim

Had yo claim on my pet insurance for the first time and when I phone customer services they quickly posted out a claim form and explained what was required to make a speedy claim. It only took about 3 to 4 weeks and the money was in my bank. I would definitely recommend this pet insurance company Reviewed on: 14th September 2023

Always pay out promptly

Unfortunately, I've needed to make a few claims these past 2 years because of various accidents etc. Insurance Emporium have always paid up promptly. Reviewed on: 14th September 2023

The claim was quick but the deductions were surprising

The claim went through directly from the emergency vet as my dog sadly passed away. We were charged nearly £900 but got back £49. I understand euthanisation and cremation aren’t included but what I was surprised by was the £149 deduction for the emergency vet consultation. When I called to enquire they said they only cover up to £90 for emergency vet visits. Given the current charges at vets, I expected other deductions but this definitely was not one of them. Nearly 12 years paying insurance, never claiming and to receive £49 felt like a bit of a let down. I understand it was in my policy wording but this is not something I had considered to check. I would expect other exemptions but not on consultations. Due to this, I will be insuring my other 2 dogs elsewhere. Hopefully this can be reviewed for other people, given the ever increasing veterinary consultation costs. Reviewed on: 14th September 2023

Our policies will cover £90 of the out of hours fee if the condition is life threatening; out of hours fees are a surcharge for seeing the pet outside of usual hours. any fees for treatment would be considered under the terms of cover. Brilliant service and price

Insured our new puppy with Emporium. Rang with some questions. Got through straight away . Delightful lady took my call. Easy and friendly service and the price was by far the best for really good cover. Reviewed on: 14th September 2023

Friendly staff

Although there was confusion regarding my claim the service was professional and efficient. Once the confusion had been clarified Emporium settled the claim and continue to support my dogs life threatening Illnesses and care . Thank you . Reviewed on: 14th September 2023

Our new rescue dog was very happy to play with his brother but got a bit carried away and bit him resulting in a vet visit and stitches!! After the excess was taken off we still got some money back to us! Wasn't as much as we hoped but every penny helps! Reviewed on: 14th September 2023
