I joined Triodos UK after doing so in the Netherland...

I joined Triodos UK after doing so in the Netherlands where I also studied, lived/worked. I wanted an ethical, socially responsible, progressive bank that didn't try and wash its image, and from my experience thus far, that is what they are. I appreciate and value their transparency, whilst I appreciate the type and scope of their investment products available. In regards to the current account, recently they administered an overdraft amnesty which was personally much appreciated whilst representing "a reading of the room"—given the windfall all financial companies and banks received through recent high interest rates. I have not seen nor heard of any other bank behaving in such manner, which speaks dividends (excuse the pun). Reviewed on: 4th March 2025

Ethical banking

With my Triodos current account, I get all the same features as other high street banks, including ApplePay, but with ethical credentials on top. For me, this is the future of banking. Reviewed on: 4th March 2025

Customer service is second to none.

Customer service is second to none. You always get through promptly and speak to someone who seems committed to solving your issues. The app is brilliant - really easy to use. Initially, I was sceptical about having to pay a monthly fee (£3) but I don't even think about it now because in every way, banking with Triodos has been superior to all my previous bank experiences.
