A refreshing take on banking

Communication from Triodos about how my money is used is clear and makes me feel like I’m part of something fair and thoughtful. Refreshing in these times where unsustainable growth is often marketed as the only way to go- I like how Triodos is prepared to challenge this narrative. Reviewed on: 23rd January 2025

Easy to get hold of on the phone.

Easy to get hold of on the phone. Very responsive to queries. App is easy to use. And, unlike other major banks, money kept with Triodos is not used to proactively support climate change. Reviewed on: 4th March 2025

Ethics come first.

Clear easy to use online system. Good customer focus. Great to know that everything about this bank is ethically driven. Very occasionally some cash machines and banking 'hubs' don't recognise the bank and won't give cash but I wouldn't change from Triodos. Reviewed on: 4th March 2025

Very happy to be a Triodos customer.

Very happy to be a Triodos customer. The ethical commitment is very important to me. The ethical diligence they undertake and the clear ways they communicate on these issues are excellent. Banking services likewise excellent, including the app. I have never had a negative issue in all the years I have banked with Triodos. Always recommend to friends and colleagues. The most intelligent thing to do

Very good, ethically driven bank

Very good, ethically driven bank that does almost everything I need and I'm very happy I can have a Current Account with a bank that works for a better future rather than just short-term profit. The one thing they should improve on is being able to receive payments from abroad into the Current Account, the process they have in place currently is extremely cumbersome. Customer service is excellent

Customer service is excellent. Staff is helpful, competent and easy to reach. The bank doesn't invest in industries that harm people or the planet. Those choices help to improve the uncertain future of planet earth. They choose to invest in local and national companies that make a difference to the local community. They are completely different from most banks that support wars and weapons' sale (like Barclay's), as well as fossile fuels industries. I wish more banks were like Triodos.
