A refreshing take on banking

Communication from Triodos about how my money is used is clear and makes me feel like I’m part of something fair and thoughtful. Frontrunner for most ethical, competent bank in the UK.

I can bank online and with the app. Triodos phone support is UK based. Refreshing ethical approach to banking and the use of, and the generation of money. I can be sure that my money is not being used by Triodos for product, services or investment vehicles that are not in line with my beliefs. I am a long term customer and they are my main bank account. I have never had a problem in relation to their products or their services. Always find customer service to be pleasant and reasonable to deal with, unlike some unethical, chancer fake banks like Monzo. Reviewed on: 4th March 2025

Banking with Triodos is a simple, efficient and good value way of banking. I like the fact that payments can be made 24/7, the minimal monthly charge and the rapid response from customer service should I have a question or concern. Triodos An outstanding bank with ethics to match

I changed to Triodos as I wanted to use the most ethical bank available. As well as their ethics, one outstanding thing with Triodos is that, whenever you need to speak to your bank about something, your call is answered quickly by someone in the UK. Each time I called Triodos with a query, always received a friendly, professional and efficient response, which can be quite unusual nowadays. I always try to make people aware that it is possible to have a current bank account and support steps towards a better, fairer future. I honestly can’t recommend Triodos Bank highly enough. I think they are a beacon and shining example in this troubled world, that even a bank can be ‘clean’ and genuinely operate with a positive impact on the world. Triodos - the green alternative.

Banking with Triodos is the change we longed for and needed. Frustrated with not having control of where our money was ultimately invested by banks and wanting a truly ethical alternative, we discovered Triodos. We have now been banking with them a number of years and encourage people to make the change to a 'green' alternative..
