A refreshing take on banking

Communication from Triodos about how my money is used is clear and makes me feel like I’m part of something fair and thoughtful. Ethical, safe and convenient

I joined Triodos because of their ethical stance and view of how money should work in society, it has proved to be a good decision on a more practical level too. My money is accessible in all the ways that we expect, a good app and website that work together well. My money feels safe as if I do an unusual transaction there is a check and balance from the bank to make sure it is legitimate. Reviewed on: 16th January 2024

A fair, ethical current account

I know that my money (and interest when I do go overdrawn) is being used ethically. I am happy to pay for my current account to avoid shifting the costs of running my account onto those who are less able to pay. Other than that, my experience is the same as with any other bank. Keeping my money safe...

Monitoring of unusual payments made from my account is very thorough and efficient. Customer service via telephone and secure messaging is excellent - always prompt in reply and polite. Banking with Triodos has been a really positive experience. Their customer service is excellent; they are very clear about why they have set the online banking up as they have; and I value, enormously, the newsletter info showing me what projects and organisations Triodos is supporting to make a Positive difference to our communities in the UK. Tridos are a very smooth bank to deal with.

Tridos are a very smooth bank to deal with. Their customer service is, by comparison with my old bank, lightning fast. I have never been upsold or pressure sold anything, no nasty interactions and everything about the account is clear.
