An ethical current account without compromises

Triodos's current account gives me the confidence that my money is being used ethically, and not to back companies involved in immoral or environmentally destructive activities. That doesn't come at the cost of convenience — their online and mobile app banking is easy to use and very reliable, and on the few occasions I've needed person-to-person customer support they've been friendly, easy to contact, and helpful. Telephone customer service is AMAZING.

Telephone customer service is AMAZING. I speak to a human almost straight away and they are kind, well trained and super helpful. I also love that Triodos invests in local businesses, and their general ethos and ethics makes them a fantastic bank. Of all the many banks I’ve used over the years, I trust Triodos the most. Efficient and Ethically sound

Never any problems with Triodos which is efficient and of course ethically sound - especially as I am deaf so can’t communicate by phone, which causes problems with other institutions. Reviewed on: 20th April 2026
