Picks up a phone faster from other banks . Is patient with elderly people (like me) who find on line banking somewhat intimidating. Is open about its philosophy. Is very strict about online risks (can be irritating, but basically very reassuring). Reviewed on: 20th April 2026

I have been with Triodos bank for over seven years.

I have been with Triodos bank for over seven years. Customer service has been great. I like the flat fee for the current account and the transparency explaining what organisations Triodos supports. I wish it was possible to have an overdraft facility. I’m not sure why that service was removed,I did find it very useful as a safety net. Great that you can now pay using your phone. Overall pleased with Triodos and the fact that I know my money is not supporting anything negative certainly alleviates my missing having an overdraft facility. Reviewed on: 20th April 2026

An ethical current account without compromises

Triodos's current account gives me the confidence that my money is being used ethically, and not to back companies involved in immoral or environmentally destructive activities. That doesn't come at the cost of convenience — their online and mobile app banking is easy to use and very reliable, and on the few occasions I've needed person-to-person customer support they've been friendly, easy to contact, and helpful.
