Triodos: Transparency, no fossil fuel, no oil & gas investments.

Triodos invests in socially and environmentally beneficial projects, not earth destroying fossil fuels, oil and gas. As a "friend of the earth", I became aware that Charity Friends of the Earth partner with Triodos because: 1. Respecting our planet with sustainable projects: "When you deposit £100 into a Triodos savings or ISA account, it will donate £40 to Friends of the Earth's campaign work. Triodos has supported us since 2007." 2. Hope & Action for saving our planet and a sustainable greener future for all life on Earth: "Your money will finance inspiring organisations who are changing the world for the better." 3. Trust & Transparency: "Triodos Bank publishes details of every single organisation it lends to." In my opinion, that's a lot of positives for an ethical bank existing in a world of ever-increasing corruption in which banks globally keep their customers in the dark on how they use their money for unsustainable, planet-destroying investments from which global banks & investment management firms/corporations profiteer in the trillions. Investments made with the hard-earned money (and pensions) from their customers to finance/fund oil barons' fossil fuel & oil digging projects to bring our Home, our Earth, to the brink of climate crisis destruction from which all life on our planet connected to our existence and survival will likely not recover nor survive. Feels friendly

Triodos bank feels friendly. There isn't a feeling of being just another customer, but instead a feeling of being part of a bigger thing that we're all in together. Transparency on where and how money is invested is important and is always available to view. On the rare occasions that I've needed to speak to someone in person, they've always been great. A different kind of banking experience

I joined triodos savings many years ago because of its clear ethical stance. I was delighted when current accounts were enabled. It's commitment to supporting ethical and sustainable work especially grassroots level. Feel good about your bank

A while back I found out how many of the big banks are directly funding and lending money to activities, that are destroying our planet. Oil companies, fracking, deforestation are not things I want to be part of or know that my bank are supporting. That's why I bank with Triodos. It's a way of doing your bit to help make the planet a better place to live. They also support smaller businesses and give new startups better opportunities to succeed. Ethical banking is the way forward

My account was easy to open, the app is easily navigate or, but secure with 2 factor authentication. I had to contact customer support when my baby locked my pin machine thing, and they were easy to get a hold of , easy to understand, helpful and efficient. I love that the bank is so transparent and ethical, and that my money (the little bit of it that there is) is not being used to fund oil, wars and poverty. Thanks triodos! Triodos wins my vote

All necessary information is clear. My one problem was treated with courtesy and infinite patience although it turned out that the fault was mine. Triodos fulfils my wish to bank ethically. No investment in fossil fuels and I am able to contribute to several good causes which are close to my heart. Reviewed on: 15th January 2022

Tripods do not invest in fossil fuels

I chose Triodos, because unlike most other banks (and particularly Santander, Barclays, and HSBC) they do not lend to climate destroying fossil fuel projects. If more consumers move to Triodos, we would have more chance of avoiding the climate catastrophe we currently face. And their service and App are great. Reviewed on: 15th January 2022
