Customer service is exceptional

Triodos has provided prior to and throughout the Covid Lockdown excellent service to myself. Call waiting time has rarely reached 5 minutes and call-backs from the bank have always been within the timeframe promised. I have never had to chase/follow-up a query with them. The staff one the phone have always been polite and friendly, also answering my queries, or having a colleague respond swiftly if they were unable to help/advise. I would recommend Triodos Bank UK to anyone. Reviewed on: 16th January 2022

Good service, strong ethics

Occasionally I’m disappointed that a minor feature might be missing from their app when compared with certain competitors. I also find myself hesitant to recommend their personal current account lightly because it could involve having a discussion about why I choose to pay £3 a month for it. Having said that, the reason I choose to do this is an ethical one (see their website for details), and it’s the strength of their ethics that is where Triodos really shines. Why wouldn't you?

Would never go back

There should be more emphasis on what your bank does with the help of your money. Once I had learned that, I had been terrified that, while my everyday choices were made with the best intentions towards other people, animals and our planet, I was inadvertently responsible for what my bank was doing to help destroy it. I closed my old personal and savings accounts and opened both with Triodos. Though I do miss apple pay sometimes, I would never go back, because it’s a small price to pay for knowing my money work to better our collective future. Reviewed on: 16th January 2022

Easy to use and friendly staff but ethical policy is priority

I have been with Triodos since they opened customer accounts a few years ago. They have improved the usability of the online banking and always on top of security and fraud problems. When I need to contact someone, by message or phone call, they are always polite and efficient. I wanted a bank that put sustainability and ethics before profit and Triodos certainly do that and work hard to show what is being done with customer investments and improvements to communities. I certainly put them above any other bank I have used including another well known 'ethical' bank. Reviewed on: 16th January 2022
