About this product

The TSB Cash account is a basic bank account.

It’s available if you don’t have a UK bank account and don’t qualify for other TSB current accounts. There’s no charge for opening or maintaining the account. Cash account holders can use the TSB mobile banking app, but you won’t be able to get an overdraft.

Helpful Friendly staff

Ive had a few problems with my cash account but TSB have been a great help. Offering me an unauthorised overdraft for me to pay back monthly. This did however cause a slight problem money wise but once I got used to it i was fine with it and I enjoy having that little bit of extra security on my account. I wont be moving to a new bank any time soon as TSB have been helpful and i doubt i'd get that elsewhere with other high street banks SINCE THIS REVIEW I HAVE HAD NOTJING BUT PROBLEMS Reviewed on: 28th April 2015

Stable, relatively secure and friendly

On daily working the tsb cash account allows you to access money anywhere at anytime, with in branch staff that are helpful, friendly and supportive. While a csh account doesnt have any major bonuses, it makes up for it with a lack of bad things to say. Internet, mobile or in branch banking is simple and user friendly. Reviewed on: 24th April 2015

When I tell people about my experience with this bank they are appalled.

It is well known the this bank's customer service is dire. The process to get to a talk to someone is lengthy and by the time you get there, chances are they can't help you for one reason or another. The most recent hiccup (to put it lightly) they cancelled my cards without telling me so I had no idea what was happening when my card was declined then swallowed by an ATM. They sent me new ones that never arrived so for about 2 weeks I could only get cash out from in bank. Once I did order new ones only one arrived (the ATM one) so I waited. Then called and was told I have been denied authorisation (once again no one told me), when I asked why, no one knew. I have a regular job with a regular income and have a good amount of savings, there is absolutely no reason why I would be denied. I have also been unable to use my PIN and therefore debit card for about a year because they are unable to get one to me. The whole process has been a nightmare. Santander here I come!
