Please don’t use This card

My card got hacked so I cancelled the card. Asked for a new card to be sent out . Card was sent to the wrong address, when I contacted them to ask where my card was they wouldn’t tell me the address it was sent to. They just said it wasn’t sent to the address I asked. I Tried the same process again giving them my address 3 times making sure they had the correct address. Again the same thing happened, I’ve never had an issue receiving mail at this Address, it’s now been one month no card. Tried several times to resolve the problem and the consultants were of no help whatsoever. This card has a few good things going for it in the rewards program but thats about it. This is the first review I’ve ever wrote custom service is the worst, once your card is locked from being hack you cannot access to see any transactions. I wanted to cancel my card and pay out the balance but couldn’t access my profile to double check the transactions. End of the day worst experience cannot recommend this card whatsoever Reviewed on: 10th February 2025

Brand is everything....

When I first jumped on the 'Virgin Money' band wagon more than 2 years ago, I was trepidatious... Was this just another example of a very successful well known brand launching into unnecessary territory, merely to make a profit? I couldn't have been more wrong, Virgin Money offers customer service like no other high street bank or building society - never have I ever left Branch or finished a telephone banking conversation without knowing that my feelings matter. For example, I was 19 when I applied for my first credit card, I was very green (unashamedly, I still am), I had no idea about 'minimums', 'balance transfers', 'limits' or any of the other jargon that comes with a credit service - but I know that when I get confused, if I ever find myself confused - I ring the number on the back of my card, and within 5 minutes my question is answered and there's a smile on my face - Some people may say that telephone banking and call centres are cold and impersonal - but somehow, Virgin money have mastered this and leave me ending the call with a smile on my face. Do they offer the biggest line of products on the market? No, but what they do offer is quality and a genuine care for the customer - Bravo VM, you really know how to keep this 21 year old happy. :) Reviewed on: 23rd January 2017

Customer and User Friendly

I have had my Virgin Credit card for a number of years now. I've made different large purchases on this card and the occasional balance transfer onto my Virgin Account all because I find the service easy to use and this is refreshing for this sector. Virgin keep me up to date with statements and offers but they dont bombard me with 'Spam' mail. I've generally had negative experiences with online banking, particularly with log in functions, however I've never had any problems with the Virgin Account. Whilst you wouldn't judge a book by it cover, Virgins Marketing and brand are also pretty fresh and contemporary. The Sex Pistols design credit card must be the coolest out there. That aside though I wouldn't have stuck with Virgin it they didn't have the product to back it up. You don't get left out of the loop with promotional rates as an existing customer. The reasons above are why I've been with Virgin this long and long may it continue! Reviewed on: 17th January 2017
