Zempler Bank offer two personal current accounts – the Freedom account and the Activeplus account.

The Freedom account has no monthly fees and the Activeplus account is £5.95 per month. There may be fees for sending money and withdrawing or paying in cash. Both accounts come with the option to add on an overdraft.

Great seamless banking for a lot of years no

Great seamless banking for a lot of years now, helped me get back on my feet after a long term health issue so I was unable to work and when I needed a quick set up bank when I returned to work then it was fast , easy and straightforward to set up, only niggle is the fee still even after becoming a bank, and the max 9 free transfers, which with 2 kids and alike then those soon add up so it's a free then after which is the only real down fall of what would be perfect overall, more so in today's wanna be cashless society then this seems to be a vastly overpriced few 99p per transaction over 9 of them...otherwise all good Reviewed on: 17th February 2026

I have found the bank the most reliable I have ever...

I have found the bank the most reliable I have ever used. The online site is very straightforward and easy to use, there are never any suprises with the charges and balance. On the odd occasion I have needed to contact customer service, I have been able to actually talk to someone instead of a computer, and they have been helpful, friendly and efficient. Excellent service.

Removal of prevention of credit block

Joined the bank when it was a load credit card, stopping me going overdrawn. That unfortunately has been removed when they became a bank, overall the bank has been outstanding experience. Reviewed on: 17th February 2026

Statements are always on time.

Statements are always on time. It's easy to get in touch with customer service over the phone and they're always helpful. You can get through quite quickly. The prices are not too bad where as with other banks they can be more costly. i find the app easy to use. I've never had any trouble with it. Reviewed on: 17th February 2026

Outstanding customer service every time, incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, always a real person, which is such a refreshing change! So easy to use the app and online - everything you need really is right at your fingertips. I've been with Zempler for 10 yaers now and I wouldnt go anywhere else - the people I've recommended Zempler to have all said a big thank you! All impressed customers! Keep doing what you're doing!
