Review of the Zopa, Cash ISA:

Opening accounts-straightforward....being ID'd not so.

Opening accounts are very straightforward and quick. Their interest rates are right up there at the top and is the main reason I bank with them. My only gripe is, when I transferred an ISA account I held elsewhere into ZOPA, I didn't know how much of my annual limit I had left. I went onto their CHAT facility, where they proceeded to ask me ID questions. I don't have to do this with my other Banks, which seems appropriate, as I've been technically ID'd by using my log in details to access the app. The questions they asked me were a little ridiculous. They wanted to know when I'd opened my account. Like most people, over time, they are not going to remember this. I Hazarded a guess between certain months of a year and was told I'd failed. Later on after looking up when I had opened the account I discovered I was correct with my answer. So I suppose unless you get it spot on,youve got no chance. Oh well. Ordinary saver meets exceptional bank

I have only ever invested in fixed rate ISA’S previously, so it has been eye opening to see my ISA grow in value every month when the interest and bonus interest is added. Zopa offers a really good banking and saving service with products to suit all. The staff are always keen to help with any queries and support me. Reviewed on: 18th April 2025

Good rate, flexible isa.

Good rate, flexible isa. Different isa pot. Only issue is transfer out, you have to wait for the all fixed term pot to become access isa pot, only then you can transfer. Reviewed on: 17th April 2025
