Good service

Admiral have always been competitive in the car insurance market. Saying that, it is annoying that the renewal quote is always astronomical but when you phone to say you're leaving the reduce is by vast amounts. This year's renewal was nearly £200 more than last years and £150 more than competitors but the reduced to lower in one phone call. A bit of a pain but all part of modern life it appears. Been with admiral for years.

So easy to renew

I've had multicover home and car insurance with admiral for several years now.. the reason I stay is the annual renewal price doesn't suddenly jump out which is what I've had over companies do.. it is an incentive to renew without worries it will hit your pocket Reviewed on: 18th August 2023

Reasonable increase

As I have not had to make a claim in the first year of being with Admiral, I cannot review their claims procedures and hence I have given them 4 stars because I feel that my experience is limited. However, setting up our insurance cover (which includes home contents) was very well handled by the agent back in 2022, I remember. He was very thorough, helpful and patient. Now that the first renewal has come up, I was nicely and gratefully surprised to see that although it was an important increase, it was still less than comparable covers offered by other companies at present. I hope to remain a happy customer for many more years and to see a real crackdown on those who drive without insurance, as the accidents they are involved in have an impact on all our premiums. Price hike for no fault accident

I had someone drive into the back of me when I had been stopped much longer than they should have needed to see that I had due to an oncoming lorry on my side of the road. At my subsequent renewal they explained the huge increase in premium by saying I had put myself in harms way so was considered higher risk! At no time did they ask for the circumstances of the accident, just decided the idiot behind me not concentrating was my fault and I should have avoided them. I know all premiums have risen but this was ridiculous and I will definitely shop around on next renewal. Other that that however I had no complaints. Reviewed on: 18th August 2023

Better than most

With car insurance and home insurance (multicover), I find Admiral's cover to be fair and reasonable and their offers for continuing customers especially to be better than most providers I have come across. Reviewed on: 18th August 2023

Good introduction rates and good service
