DO NOT USE this useless company NOT interested I have never claimed off them until my pedigree Cat had to be put to sleep in November 24 he had had numerous tests n scans trying to find out what was wrong as he wasn’t old the results were shocking nothing could be done.You just think thank god I’ve got insurance the bill was just over £4.000 which we’ve paid ourselves it’s nearly 8 weeks it’s like trying to get blood out of a stone when you’ve lost a family pet you really don’t need all the upset and ringing for updates is a waste of time all they say is we have a back log and they’re not interested.Ive logged a complaint so let’s see what happens next. Ok till you claim .

Ok till you claim . My pet insurance up in Jan . We had couple conditions and they remove a lump sum plus you excess for each renewal year. Nowhere except in their small print is the additional lump sum . I’d avoid at all cost . Tesco actually very good for insurance Reviewed on: 19th February 2024

Extremely POOR pet insurance.

Extremely POOR pet insurance. My pet was put to sleep in November and radio silence from Asda despite chasing. took over 3 months to pay the invoice from my vets (this was after several calls from myself chasing - they ignored ALL emails from my vets and myself asking where the money was!) even when paying the invoice they did not pay the whole thing and refused to share what was missing on the payment. A terrible experience and I will NEVER ever use them again. Reviewed on: 12th February 2024

Premium increase of 100%

I have an ageing spaniel and paid £1600 insurance last year, and has cause to make 1 claim, to which they paid £434. Just received my renewal and it has increased by 100% to £262 per month, yes that’s right, per month! the sad thing is, is that they tell you it’s because you’ve had a claim and you won’t get cover anywhere else. Nothing decent about them

It's been 6 weeks since I have put a claim in but still not getting anything back from them. I phoned up and I have been told it will be another 10-20 working days before they can do anything about it so that could be 10 weeks before you could get your claim back. I would never recommend this insurance company to anyone. If I could give no stars then I would have done it. Reviewed on: 11th December 2023

Check the small print!!

Took 10 weeks to say they only insure up to £1500 for cruciate ligament surgery. My dogs operation was £4500. There's not a vet in the UK that would do it for £1500, so cover is totally inadequate Reviewed on: 3rd December 2023

Delays and so far Non payment of routine claim

Not worth getting involved with...I made a relatively small claim back in August as my dog had a kidney infection that required a vet visit, some tests and some medication. I filed all the required documentation and sent it in to ASDA but hear nothing for about 6 weeks...followed up multiple times and got some vague excuses. Today its December and now they are saying that they are asking my vet for more information (no details of what) - if they dont get it they say they will cancel the claim, if they do get it they say it will restart the whole claim process. At this stage, I accept that it's a scam and have not renewed with them for this year and moved to John Lewis instead. They are a joke...avoid. Reviewed on: 30th November 2023

AVOID AVOID AVOID

And if you can't avoid - please please read every bit of documentation they give you, and everything on their website and links. Absolute charlatans who delay delay delay then don't pay on a technicality. I am a responsible dog owner who wouldn't dream of not having the right cover for my loved one - but with this policy, I may as well have not had any insurance at all. So best advice, if you really really have to use them, please read absolutely everything as they will get out of paying. Reviewed on: 6th November 2023
