Aviva Car insurance? Not for new cars owners...

Aviva Car insurance is not adequate for new cars owners. Even in the fully comprehensive insurance package, they have an extra excess fee in case you would like to take your brand new car into an unlisted repairer (unapproved by Aviva). But this is deceiving. It is no guarantee you will get the repair costs refunded. Even if you want to take your brand new car, still under warranty, to the Make of your car for repairs to avoid voiding the warranty, Aviva sets its right to not agree to such repairs. Comprehensive cover at a good price..

Comprehensive cover with few exclusions at a good price. Similar large companies with policies offering the same cover appear to be more expensive in comparison. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2024

repeatedly bombarded by texts and calls

after a car accident where no-one was injured I was bombarded by phone calls weekly to ask me to make a false claim for whiplash. Aviva published my personal details and said the only way to stop them was to make FALSE claim!!!! No wonder our insurance is high if they encourage us to lie. I reported it to the police who cant be bothered with such trivialities. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2024

I did a quote online but a few days later was unable to find. Called aviva and spoke to a lovely young lady who found my quote and progressed it to cover stage in a few minutes, cover was fully explained and all questions regarding my policy were answered. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2024

Customer service is amazing.

Customer service is amazing. When a 3rd party hit my car Aviva did everything they could to make things as easy as possible to sort. I was kept informed at all stages and felt reassured throughout the process. The repairs were carried out quickly, solicitors found and replacement car sourced quickly. Within a very short time the whole process was completed and my car repaired to a very high standard with works guaranteed. Any queries I had were dealt with promptly and efficiently. We have been with Aviva for 3 years with our car insurance I am not loyal to any company and always look for the best deal for me (it may not be the cheapest) Aviva have matched or got very close to the best quote which is why we have been with them so long Reviewed on: 23rd August 2024
