Great bank but need to update App

HSBC is a great bank to be with but their App needs to be updated as you can't transfer money in it like my friends can with their Apps from other banks. Reviewed on: 1st February 2017

A loyal customer for over 15 years but all I got was grief!

I stayed with HSBC purely as I didn't know how easy it was to switch and my parents had been customers for what seems like forever. I'm so glad I switched. Looking back I had poor rates of interest, poor communication and poor customer service from both telephone support and in branch help. Reviewed on: 20th January 2017

HSBC hard to beat!

I have banked with HSBC for 11 years and I personally find them hard to beat. Excellent customer service care which makes you feel valued. I have never had any issues with them throughout my varied financial situations. Reviewed on: 19th January 2017

Terrible un-ethical investments and Poor interest rates

I set up and ISA with HSBC a year ago. I have since received a letter almost every month telling me the interest rates have dropped again. To the point where I may as well not have an ISA at all. I have also just found out HSBC is funding palm oil companies who are destroying rainforest in Indonesia. Forest destruction causes fires which are linked to thousands of deaths & help push orangutans closer to extinction. This is something I am extremely against! Time for me to find a new bank! ABSOLUTELY AWFUL

the security to get into your bank is absolutely appauling! you have to have 3 password, 5 security questions, a memorable name, a security code and then you need to download the app to generate a random code ontop - this happens EVERY TIME YOU TRY TO LOG IN!!!!!!!! i've been locked out several times for forgetting one of these million codes and each time you have to wait in a que on the phone for 1 hour, to be connected with an idian who you cant even understand and is useless at his job!!! the next time i manage to actually get into my bank to withdraw money, i am closing it as soon as! worst bank i've ever been with! do not go with them! Never had any real issues with HSBC

I'm happy with HSBC customer service and using their mobile app, which is convenient for quickly checking my balance and transferring money is straight forward. If I ever need to get any help with setting anything up, I've always received quick and professional customer service. Reviewed on: 5th January 2017

Brilliant current account

I have had my current account with HSBC since I was 11 years old. The customer service team have always been extremely helpful when I have a query, and the savings account I opened with them last year offered a good rate of interest. Reviewed on: 2nd January 2017
