Out of my 6 years of driving I will never ever be go...

Out of my 6 years of driving I will never ever be going back to Churchill let me run this down for you started with the company from July were now in November I've rang up 5 times over the last 4 months for them to tell me they have a IT problem and they will ring me back never heard nothing back decided to ring back for the last time In this November for them to tell me there's a defect with my insurance. After already taking a payment off me they then tell me they need to cancel my insurance start a new one and take another payment again in the same month with no refund after all I wanted was my no claims discount protecting adding on which I already added on from the start then once the insurance started they decided it wasn't protected after 4 months of IT issues they tell me oh we can now add protected no claims that they also confirmed I put it on in the first place to also say sorry for the amount of times ive called and no call back for them to turn around and say yes we can add it but need to cancel and take another payment with just a sorry. That's my last time using this company and stay away never had a issue with anyone else apart from these shocking Reviewed on: 21st November 2024

Always get to speak with a friendly voice whether it's to do with a claim, breakdown or negotiating a reduced Premium. I have been with Churchill for several years and the staff have always gone that 'little bit more' - calling me back when they had managed to reduce my Premium. I was also able to add my son to my Policy when he was under 25 and returned home for the holidays from Uni (a lot of the cheaper Companies won't insure under 25's). There may be slightly cheaper companies out there - but for me excellent customer service wins every time. Thank you Churchill! Reviewed on: 4th August 2016

Nearly doubled my premium for renewal, I had checked other companies before it came through and it should have roughly stayed the same. I phoned up to complain and they immediately dropped the renewal price by 40%, but that was still an increase of 10% over the previous year which was still not acceptable so I took my business elsewhere. In regards to all insurance companies, always read your renewal quote/cost as sometimes they seem to inflate it massively for no reason! Reviewed on: 14th July 2016

My previous insurance was due for renewal so decided to shop around to see if I could get a better deal. Churchill comfortably beat the price and it was quick and easy to buy with them. Hopefully I will not need to claim! Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

They charge £26.50 to change name or address! On top of this, my £500 voluntary excess has suddenly become £900, as they add on extra excess due to my age or something. I hope I don't even need to claim... Reviewed on: 26th February 2016

I have purchased car insurance with Churchill for 2 years running. When it came to renewing I found a slightly cheaper quote online and phoned them up to cancel, but to my surprise they matched it! They were pleasant over the phone and very helpful in explaining the different terms of my policy. I had reason to claim on my insurance when my windscreen was chipped and I was pleased how easy it was to sort out with Churchill.
