Co-op are quick, honest and help in times of need!

Co-op are a very honest bank! They always get back to you fast with your queries, and they are very good at helping if you've ever been scammed! Saving interest rates aren't very high but then they make ethical investments which lead to lower AER which I think are worth it. They have one of the best package accounts "Everyday extra" which offers really good cover for you and your kids (up to 22 years old!) Reviewed on: 4th February 2025

Terrible customer service!

We have been customers of Cooperative bank for many years. Unfortunately the customer service has deteriorated over the years. I have recently raised a complaint about a bank transfer which was not made. I have spent nearly 3 hours on the phone, been given various poor excuses, assurances which were not met and still the payment has not been made. It feels as if they no longer value customers and I would not recommend this bank to anyone. Reviewed on: 7th March 2024

I chose the Cooperative Bank

I chose the Cooperative Bank for it’s ethical stance and the fact it has a branch local to my home. I trust the Cooperative Bank to make ethical choices in its investments and the companies it supports. Reviewed on: 16th January 2024

Good bank but poor phone contact

I’ve used the Co-operative bank for years but recently trying to contact them on the phone sometimes takes hours and is very frustrating. Their online banking is good however and I can manage my money easily. Reviewed on: 16th January 2024

Avoid

Stay well away their banks are terrible. They can block your account without notice or reason and hold your money. Stay clear of Co-operative bank. 5 days now we have been without groceries because they won’t release my money. Had to send my child to school without dinner money. When I approached them, they blocked me on X and Facebook. I also rang them and begged for my own money for food for my family.. they told me they’ll see if they can send me some food and then changed th... Reviewed on: 24th November 2023

Not the best!

The Co-operative has been a mainstay of my family for over a hundred years.For groceries,Banking,House insurance,Travel and car insurance. From my Grandparents,parents and myself and siblings.But for sometime now I have been disappointed with their service.I feel they are not trying hard enough for customers service.
