Do NOT use Direct Line Breakdown Insurance

In brief, I have been beside the A303 for nearly 2 hours. I won't go through the various twists and turns with Direct Line - the summary is total and utter incompetence. I have been told I am likely to have a total WAIT OF 3.5 HOURS before I get picked up. And,no, this is not a bank holiday..... Reviewed on: 29th August 2017

Choice of insurer kept in the family

I obtained a pretty reasonable car insurance quote after I passed my test with direct line including a box to monitor my driving. I have been given several good deals of my premium because of good driving, which only increases their favourability in the eyes of myself and my mum who is also insured with them Reviewed on: 27th August 2017

Value for money

Direct Line offered the lowest quote 2 years ago when I was searching for car insurance. When it came to renewal time last year, they were still the cheapest. They also offer other great deals such as a reduction on the cost of both insurances if a partner also signs up and a reduction in the cost of house insurance, both of which we have taken up. Direct Line - excellent

I have been with them for about 12 years and have never had to make a claim so far. I have my contents and car insurance with them. Whenever I have had queries with them, they always provide the answer I am looking for. My car insurance went up when I moved to a different area and I did call them and obtained a good explanation. Comprehensive Cover Competitive Price

I have had car insurance cover with Direct Line for over 9 years now. I always do a thorough comparison every year and they always come out the best for price and quality of cover. Their cover is really comprehensive so there aren't too many extras to consider like they cover you for business use as standard.
