Used direct line for 2 years now and have not had a problem. The monthly payments are good value and beat other quotes. When I have contacted them the call centre has always been in the UK. Very happy Reviewed on: 3rd August 2017

HAVE RENEWED MY POLICY WITH DIRECT LINE FOR THE 2ND YEAR NOW. AFTER RECEIVING MY RENEWAL NOTICE THIS YEAR THOUGHT THE NEW QUOTE WAS A BIT HIGH SO RANG DIRECT LINE AND SECURED A PRICE REDUCTION SO IN THE END ONLY WORKED OUT A COUPLE OF QUID DEARER. Reviewed on: 28th July 2017

Good customer service & clear paperwork.

Recently renewed our home insurance with Direct Line. Received paperwork and emails before renewal to remind me, and to outline the costs. Telephone customer service was good - well trained staff and I wasn't left on hold for ages. However not quite 10/10 because like many companies, the 'automatic renewal' quote was £200 more than last year, but as soon as I phoned them to query it, the figure came down by £150. very poor customer service

Due to 2 water incidents in our home. We found out direct lone outsoirce their insurance to AXA.omg..customer care does not exist with either of these companies. Reviewed on: 19th July 2017
